MeanwhilePolverinoworkedformanyyears,asafilmprofessorintheInstitutoNacionaldeCineyArteAudiovisuales,thencalledCERC.In1994PolverinoreleasedhisfirstmajordocumentaryHistoriadelcinemundial(1994),whichgavehimovernightfame.ThesecondoneHistoriadelcineargentino(1995),followedthesameline,butitalsoincludedthepersonaltestimoniesofmanytechniciansoftheArgentinefilmindustry.
