Thisfilmwasmadeduringthelate60's/early70's"SwedishSin"era.DianneKjaer("Dagmer'sHotPants")wasveryrepresentativeofSweden'sgreatestexportduringthatperiod--althoughshewasred-headedratherthanthestereotypicalSwedishblonde.Sheandtheothergirlsareabitcorpulentbytoday'sstandards,butdefinitelypretty.Thereisalotofnudity,butverylittlesex(oneofthefewgraphicsexscenesisactuallyahardcorepornomovieshowingonTVinoneoftheflashbacks).Ontheotherhand,thereisaratherlongsceneofKjaertakingoutthegarbage,wanderingaroundheryard,andthentakingoffherwigforsomereasonwhilethecatchytitletuneplays.Noneofthismakesthismoviesoundverycompelling,butthisisoneofthosemoviesthatreallymanagestocreateacertainfeelingormood,andonethatreallycapturesitsstrange,strangeeraandperhapsalittlebitofthelivesofthepeopleinsmallcountrywhereitwasmade(which,asidefromIngemarBergman,isfarfromthecenteroftheinternationalfilmuniverse).JornDonner,whoalsodirected,wasobviouslynotinterestedinjustmakinganothersexfilm,anditwillnodoubtfrustratepeopleexpectingsuch,buthehascreatedaninterestingfilmthatmanagestobebothmundaneandstrangelyentertaining.…
