GraduatedfromtheTU(1984)asaphotographerandfromtheStateInstituteforFilmmaking(VGIK)in1993,wherehestudiedintheDepartmentofCinematography(O.K.Artusuelov'sworkshop). Since1992hehasworkedprimarilyontelevisionprojects,directingandshootingapproximately20shows,includingTheOrchestraPit(TEFIprize,2003)andMusicScoresDon'tBurn(TEFIprize,2004),aswellas25documentaryandfeaturevideo-filmsandmanyadvertisements.
