Thedocumentaryinterlacesthefootagefilmedin2006withpersonalvideostakenbyBluntin1999,aswellasnewsfootagefromtheKosovoconflict.BluntwasreunitedwiththethreeinterpreterswithwhomhehadworkedwhenhisunitwasthefirsttobesentintoKosovo.Together,theyhadintendedtoseekoutfamilieswithwhomBluntandhischargeshadinteracted;instead,theyfoundabandonedanddestroyedhomeswhereoncethesefamilieshadlived.TheyalsoreturnedtoamassgravethatBlunt'ssquadronhadbeeninstrumentalinidentifying;itwasnowatraditionalcemetery,wheremostofthedeadhadbeenidentifiedandgravestoneswiththeirlikenesseshadbeenerected.
