KohleandDieterfindWestGermanssuspicious,interestedinespionageandnotexactlywelcoming.Togainasylumtheyoungmenmustclaimtheysufferedpoliticalpersecution,achargethefilmshowsispatentlyfalse.Thetwofriendsdecidetopartways,KohleexcitedaboutheadingtoanewlifefartherwestwhileDieterisdrawnbacktotheDDRlifeheknows.
