简介：Interestingly,in1995,two10hourminiseriesaboutthehistoryofRock&Rollairedontelevision.Onewasthis(producedbyTime-Warner),andtheotherwasPBS'"Rock&Roll".ItisimportanttoknowthatthisisnotthedocumentarythatwasairedonPBS.Thisisalightertakeonthehistoryofrock&roll,focusingmoreontheentertainmentaspectasopposedtothemore"documentary"orientationoftheseriesthatairedonPBS. Thisisthefirstof10partseriesonhistoryofRocknRoll.EachofthepartsarearrangedinchronologicalorderandthisepisodedealswiththeverybeginningofRocknRollfromearly'50stomid'50s.AlltimeearlyRocknRollgreatslikeLittleRichard,ChuckBerry,JerryLeeLouisappearstoshowtheformativeyearsofRocknRoll.
