Paradzhanov’scelebratedfilm“SayatNova”wasmaimedbytheSovietcensorsandrenamed“TheColourofPomegranates”.Thenegativehadbeencutup,loveanderoticscenesremoved,andthelineofawellstructuredplotremadeandconfused.Fortyyearslater,severalepisodes,cutoutbythecensors,werefound,insomemysteriousway,inoneofthedarkbasementsofthe“Armenfilm”studio. LevonGrigoryan,whoworkedwithParadzhanovonthefilmashisassistant,restoredtheoriginalfilminavideoversion,andtoldanabsorbingstoryofitstragicfate. "ErosandTanatos"(2005,35min.)
