Butthenfatestruck.OnJuly27,1890,behindtheCastleofAuvers,Vincentinjuredhimselfwithafirearm.Twodayslater,inthecompanyofhisbrotherTheoandseveralacquaintances,attheageof37,hebreathedhislastbreath.
