Inmid-1989,TadeuszKantorstartedworkonaperformancewhichhecouldnotattend.HediedinKrakówon8thDecember,1990,afteroneofthelastrehearsalsofthisplay,whichwaseventuallyfinishedbytheCricot2theatre.ThepremiereshowingsofthisFrench-German-Italianco-productiontookplaceinToulouseandParisinJanuary1991.
