HewasborninLeninakan,currentGyumri,Armenia.HestudiedinLeninakanArtCollegeandTheatreStudio,thenfinishedattheActingDepartmentofYerevanInstituteofFineArtsandTheatre.Since1953hehasperformedintheSundukyanDramaTheatreofYerevan.Healsodirectedmanysuccessfulproductions,bestofthemMaximGorky's"TheLowerDepths".Hiscinemacareerbeganin1955.HisfamousrolesinRolanBykov's"Aybolit-66"(1966),LeonidGaidai's"ThePrisoneroftheCaucasus"(1966),andGeorgiDaneliya's"Mimino"(1977)earnedhimthereputationofoneoftheleadingcomedyactorsintheSovietUnion.ButthatreputationsometimesovershadowedhisrealtalentandemotionaldeepnesswhichheputinhisrolesinsuchclassicsofArmeniancinemaas"Yerankyuni"(1967),"Menqenq,mersarere"(1969),"Hayrik"(1973),"Nahapet"(1977),"Hinoreriyerge"(1982),"Mermankutyantangon"(1985).AmonghismanyawardswastheUSSRStatePrizefor1978.HediedinYerevan,Armenia,in1993. Eventhoughhewasknownasacomedicactor,Frunzik'spersonallifewasfilledwithtragedy.Hisfirstwife,DonaraMkrtchyan,becamementallyillandwassenttoamentalinstitutionfortherestofherlife.Frunzikbecameasingleparentoftwoyoungkids.Hissoninheritedhismother'smentalillness,whichdevastatedFrunzik.AccordingtopeopleclosetoFrunzik,hesufferedfromseveredepressioninthelastfewyearsofhislife,andbecameaheavyalcoholdrinker.In1993,hewasfounddeadinhiscondoinYerevan.Thousandsofpeopleattendedthefuneraloftheirbelovedactor. 详情
