Butevenwhendivorcedfromtheoriginalplannedcontext,ThisUnnameableLittleBroomstandsupverywellonitsownasashortparableofcrueltyandoppression.TheGilgameshcharacterisportrayedasachildlikefigure,seeminglyweldedpermanentlytoatricycle,withagrotesquelyswollenheadthat,Picasso-like,simultaneouslypresentsbothaprofileandafrontalview.His'kingdom'isabox-likeconstruction,seeminglysuspendedinmid-air,withadistantforestjustoutofreach.
