• 详细介绍： SetintheBasinofEcuador,thedocu-dramatellsthestoryo… SetintheBasinofEcuador,thedocu-dramatellsthestoryoftheWaodani,oneofthemostviolenttribestheworldhaseverknown.TheprimitivecustomsofthisisolatedtribedemandedthattheWaodanikillnotonlytheirenemiesandoutsiders,butalsotheirfellowtribes-people.Fueledbyfearfulsuperstition,theysometimesevenburiedtheirownchildrenalive.TheWaodaniwerethemostviolentsocietyeverdocumented.SixofeverytendeathsofWaodaniadultswerehomicides.In1956,followingapromisinginitialexchange,fiveyoungmissionariesfurtherattemptedtomakepeacefulcontactwiththenotorioustribe,butwerebrutallyspearedtodeath.However,theviolentendofthemissionaries'liveswasonlythebeginningoftheWaodanistory.Shortlyafterthekillings,thewifeofoneofthefallenmenandthesisterofanotherwentintothejungletolivewiththeWaodani.Twoyearslatertheirmessageofpeaceandforgivenesshadtransformedthetribe.Thehomicideratefellby90%.Nearlyfortyyearsafterthedeathofhisfather,SteveSaintreturnedtothejungletolivewiththekillersofhisfather.Hisnewlifewiththetribesmenansweredmanychildhoodquestionsabouthisfather'sdeath.TheironyofthestoryisrevealedastheverysameWaodani,whokilledthefivemissionariesin1956,nowshareintheirincrediblestoryofhowtheirlives--andthoseoftheirpeople--havebeenchangedforever. 详情
