Throughthe1990s,thefilmwasillegallyscreenedinUniversitiesandpoliticalactswithoutpublicnotice.On1995,GloborequestedincourttheconfiscationofcopiesavailableonthelibraryoftheUniversityofSãoPaulo,buttheclaimwasoverruled.ThefilmwasrestrictedtoUniversitygroupsuntilthe2000s,withtheinternetboominBrazil,whichiscurrentlythe6thcountrybynumberofwebusers.
