Nonetheless,“TalesfromtheSource”isnotatraditional“naturefilm”butanaestheticpositioninginspiredbyCongolesetraditions,artandphilosophywhich–astheartisthimselfemphasises–representstheCongoleselandscape“asasourceratherthanaresource.”Theresultisbestdescribedasanexperienceratherthanarepresentation.
