Bytheendofthefilm,wegettoseehowColinbecameinfectedandMarcPricedoesanexcellentjobofcapturingthatsenseofhopelessnessanduncertaintythatpermeatesthemoreinterestingofzombiefilms. Thefilmdoesn’treallyhaveadirectnarrativeordirectionyetitputsyoudirectlyintothefilmandyoureallyfeellikeyouareonthisjourneyofself-discoverywithColinashetriestoadapttoawholenewworld.It’ssomethingthathasneverreallybeenattemptedbeforeandisartfullydone.Equallyimpressiveisthatthefilmwasmadeforvirtuallynobudgetandwascompletedbyfriendsandassociateswhojustwantedtomakethefilm.Thefilmisveryraw,quickoftenshakycameraworkthatmakesyoufeelapartoftheactionlikeyou’vebeenthrustintothisbleakexistencewiththecast.
