LaterinthefilmweareintroducedtoColin’ssisterwhorescuesColinfromtwothievesandthenflees.WelatermeetbackupwithherasColiniskidnappedwithaburlapsackoverhisheadandbroughttoanearbyhousewhereheistied-upinthebathroom.HissisterattemptstorecoversomesemblanceofColin’shumanityinaverystarksceneinthefilm.AsshepleadswithColintorememberwhosheisbyshowinghimpicturesofhispastlife.TheunresponsiveColinisvoidofemotionandismoreinterestedinherflesh.Colinisthentakentoseehismotherinaheart-wrenchingscenetowardstheendofthefilm. Thefilmdoesn’treallyhaveadirectnarrativeordirectionyetitputsyoudirectlyintothefilmandyoureallyfeellikeyouareonthisjourneyofself-discoverywithColinashetriestoadapttoawholenewworld.It’ssomethingthathasneverreallybeenattemptedbeforeandisartfullydone.Equallyimpressiveisthatthefilmwasmadeforvirtuallynobudgetandwascompletedbyfriendsandassociateswhojustwantedtomakethefilm.Thefilmisveryraw,quickoftenshakycameraworkthatmakesyoufeelapartoftheactionlikeyou’vebeenthrustintothisbleakexistencewiththecast.
